C. Option (30 credits)
|
From among the modules mentioned under point B
(specialisation in General and Applied Linguistics), the student
will choose either :
|
|
-
two supplementary modules for 15 credits (in order to attain a total of 60 credits including the speciality and the option);
-
one single supplementary
module for a minimum of 15 credits and a maximum of 30 credits (if
necessary, the modules chosen under B will be completed by courses from
the same module in order to attain a total of 60 credits including the
specialisation and the option);
-
30 credits of courses to
complete the modules chosen under B (to attain approximately 2 x 30
credits for the two modules chosen under B)

D. Thesis and apprenticeship (28 credits)
|
The student will complete an apprenticeship
in a research laboratory (in a university or in industry) for a
minimum of 7 weeks (14 weeks part-time). A list of teams ready to
welcome the students will be available at the secretary's office.
Depending on the availability of the research teams, this period will
take place preferably during the second semester of the first year or
during the first semester of the second year.

The student must present a thesis (50 to 100 pages) on a
linguistic subject relating to the subject matter taught in the context
of the degree, preferably in the prolongation of his apprenticeship in
a research laboratory.
