Aims

General development of receptive and productive oral skills.

Main themes

1. Grammar: grammar is not revised systematically, but occasionally depending on the recurrent errors noticed during the exercise sessions.
2. Vocabulary: Memorisation and activation of the vocabulary appearing in the texts. Organisation of this vocabulary into lexical fields.
3. Listening comprehension: listening comprehension based on spoken texts. These
texts will be extremely varied both from the point of view of presentation (radio and television recordings, talks, etc.) and content (talks, debates, radio shows, films, reports, spontaneous conversations, etc.) Comprehension is checked by means of oral debates or reports in German.
4. Production of oral texts: systematic exercises on the different locutionary acts and discursive strategies and spontaneous oral production depending on the discursive genres. The students' productions will be regularly recorded for individual correction.
