Aims

To have the students critically think about the means to develop, in a proper way, some attention to the language issue in the secondary education schools.

Main themes

To analyse the different points of view (morphosyntactical, semantic, discursive) likely to shed light on the language issues in the secondary education schools.

Content and teaching methods

Several questions will be dealt with : the interest itself of the metalinguitic reflection in the secondary education (Why ? How ?), the issue of how to assess the different aspects of language skills, etc.

Evaluation : Paper to be discussed at the oral exam.
