ARKE 11BA First year of studies |

The
major orientation
of
the bachelor programme is composed of three distinct axes
corresponding to 150 credits: (1) an initiation into the different
branches of
Human Sciences
(History, Critical Analysis of Information, Languages, Philosophy,
Anthropology, Psychology, Religion), (2) an introduction to the
different
periods and geographical eras
of
the artistic period, archaeological traces of
the history of music, particularly in Western Europe, and (3) a
metholodogical and disciplinary training course
(technology, aesthetics, auxiliary sciences, graphical documentation, museology, iconology).

A prerequisite for choosing the "Latin languages
and Latin texts course" is that the student must have already followed a
programme covering 4 hours of Latin per week in the last four
years of secondary school, or passed the orientation test at the
beginning of the year. Those students who do not fulfil these
conditions will follow the FLTR 1760 "Initiation
into Latin" course.
