Friction Stir Welding (FSW) has been one of the most active research and development technology within the wide range of welding technologies. As a result of this research activity many applications have been introduced mainly in the manufacturing of lightweight structures for transport applications, although many other industrial applications have been developed.
This event will represent an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge about different aspects of the technology as well as to hold interesting discussions with FSW experts. Presentations concerning all aspects of FSW and processing are welcome including fundamental studies, experimental testing, numerical modelling or application development.
The current conference aims to present the state of art together with the latest advances of Friction Stir Welding and Processing:
