Like the better bloodhounds of German counterintelligence, they are responsible for countless arrests of fellow countrymen. | As from the early stages of the Occupation, Mariette Goffaux, a Belgian of German origin, and her husband Gaston Goffaux started working for the occupier’s secret police. They were among the best sleuths in the ranks of the enemy’s counter-intelligence and were responsible for many arrests of Belgian nationals. | From the start of the occupation, Mariette Goffaux, Belgian of German ancestry, puts himself at service, with her husband Gaston Goffaux, of the secret police of the occupier.
