HLM
The HLM software is currently available under the version 6 and it is developed by Scientific Software International, Inc. This software has been developed in ordre to analyze rather easily models of multi-level regressions.
Models of multi-level regressions are regression models that integrate one or more random factor(s). They are particularly useful to handle data for which the structure is hierarchical or nested (for example students, split into classes and classes split into educational establishment).
The software is easy to use. It offers a structure of equations that the user fills in to create his/her regression model.
The different functions are the following:
- calculation of regression parameters
- production of graphs to illustrate the behaviour of the observed data, regression para meters or residue (of different levels).
- production of data files which include residues of different analysis levels.
