Projects
This ARC project aims at studying somatosensation in the big scope. Until now, the different submodalities of somatosensation (thermoception, mechanoception and proprioception) Have mainly been studied independently. However, there is growing evidence that those submodalities influence each other. This project brings together the experience of three PI's : Benoit Delhaye, Philippe Lefèvre and André Mouraux to explore somatosensation's submodalities interplays. Under their supervision, 3 PhD students have been recruited:
- Louis Lovat, studying the interplays between mechanoception and thermoception;
- Amir Pour Mohammadi, studying the interplays between mechanoception and proprioception;
- Artem Dobrosmyslov, studying the interplays between proprioception and thermoception;
