I am a PhD student at UCLouvain under the supervision of Frédéric Crevecoeur. My research investigates how the central nervous system integrates rapid visual and proprioceptive feedback to control movement. Building on my previous work on saccadic suppression, I explore how changes in visual processing influence motor responses to mechanical perturbations. More specifically, my work aims to understand whether visual and proprioceptive feedback rely on shared or independent neural pathways, and how the nervous system combines these signals while accounting for differences in their timing and reliability. By combining behavioural experiments and computational modelling, I aim to investigate how these interactions shape rapid corrective motor responses.
