There are several reasons for creating automated reports: the desire to provide individual feedback to each person who responded to a large survey, the ability to offer customers a personalized, user-friendly sheet for a set of items offered for sale, the desire to have a readable, standardized and detailed report for each batch submitted for quality control, etc.
Using a template provided by a client, the SMCS team programs computer code that can be used to produce hundreds of reports and customize each one based on numerical values contained in a dataset. This makes it possible to insert different results into a table, different adverbs into a text or even tailor the graphics found in each report.
