Donatien Doumont
PhD Student (2021-)
I am currently working on optical 3D-measurements of fingertip surface skin deformation occurring during manipulation-like stimulation. This project seeks to advance our understanding of the sense of touch by characterizing the mechanical drivers of tactile afferent responses.
I graduated as a Electro-mechanical engineer from UCLouvain (BS 2019, MS 2021). I started my PhD in 2021 at UCLouvain under the co-supervision of Benoit Delhaye and Philippe Lefèvre.
