Astrid Doyen
PhD Student (2022-)
I am a PhD student at the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium).
My research aims at investigating the neural structures involved in movement control, with a focus on online control and motor adaptation during reaching movements in healthy young adults, on the role of basal ganglia in cost-reward evalutation, particularly in individuals with Parkinson's disease and on the modeling of delay compensation using recurrent neural networks.
I started my PhD in October 2022 after completing a Master's degreee in Biomedical Engineering at the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium).
