Allan Barrea
Former member (2013-2017)
Allan graduated as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer from UCLouvain (BS 2011, MS 2013) and received his PhD in Engineering in 2017 also from UCLouvain for "Finger pad mechanics, tactile signals and dexterous manipulation" under the supervision of Prof. Philippe Lefèvre and Prof. Jean-Louis Thonnard.
During 2018-2023, Allan worked as an R&D engineer contributing to image and video compression technologies at intoPIX.
Since 2023, Allan is working as a Patent Engineer at Gevers, a major Belgian and French IP firm.
