The one year "licence" programme in Educational Sciences aims to enable the "licence" degree holders in "Training and Psychopedagogical Policies" and "Training Policies and Practices" to acquire the "licence" diploma in Educational Sciences by completing a specific programmme. |
Candidates must be holders of the "licence" degree in "Training and Psychopedagogical Policies" or the "licence" degree in "Training Policies and Practices" delivered by the FOPA. |
All questions regarding admission must be addressed to the secretary's office of the FOPA, Institute of Educational Sciences for adults. |
The programme comprises a core syllabus (120 hours), the choice of an orientation (105 to 120 hours), two options (60 hours) and the writing of a thesis.. |
This programme is accessible to "licence" degree holders in Training and Psychopedagogical Policies and in Training Policies and practices who wish to obtain the "licence" degree in Educational Sciences. It comprises 300 hours of tuition and seminars and an end of course thesis. |

3. Options |
||
The student is requested to follow two options other than those taken previously. |

4. End of course thesis |
||
The nature and volume of the end of course thesis are determined on a case by case basis, depending on the thesis written by the student in the context of his previous "licence". |
Formative evaluation tools have been established to provide each student with feed-back on his progress in relation with his training objectives. |

The courses are based on theoretical and practical work and the thesis is presented before a jury. |
The "licence" degree in Educational Sciences entitles access to the upper secondary school teacher-training certificate in Educational Sciences (PSP 2A) and to the third cycle programmes in Educational Sciences (specialised study diploma, EDUC 3DS, higher study diploma PSP 3DA and the PhD diploma, PSP 3). |
