Aims
- To develop a knowledge of the variety of formation devices currently used in adult formation, and more specifically in the field of formation-insertion and elimination of illiteracy
- To learn how to observe and analyse these devices in the practice, namely from the point of view of their likely effects on the dynamics of learning and motivation and from the point of view of the conditions to produce and develop these devices.
- To link the analysis of these devices with the socio-economical and political context for which they are designed.
Main themes
On the specific basis of the courses FOPA 2251 "Individual and psychosocial factors of learning in adult formation" and FOPA 2250 "Socio-economical analysis of the field of formation", this course will provide further theoretical and methodological tools for the observation and analysis of the devices of adult formation, particularly in the fields of formation-insertion and elimination of illiteracy. The course will stress on the observation of field devices (direct observations and testimonies of field actors) and on the analysis of these devices with the help of the proposed theoretical and methodological tools. These tools will take into account the socio-economical and political dimensions of the field of formation.
