Aims
- to analyse the psychological and educational problems in the education context from a personal, relational and institutional point of view.
- to devise psychological and educational individual, group or institutional interventions.
Main themes
- the institutional frame: organisation of the ordinary and special educational system; services of psychological and educational support in the school environment (CPMS, Guidance centers, ZEP...)
- the psycho-educational problems in the school environment: learning difficulties (including motivational problems); relational problems, socio-cultural problems; institutional problems.
- guidance: individual interventions; group interventions; institutional interventions.
- school counselling and vocational guidance
Content and teaching methods
The course presents a survey of the various conceptions and practices related to the educational and vocational guidance. It is based on the work of Guichard and Huteau (2001) "Psychologie de l'orientation". Paris, Dunod.
