Students will choose 30 course credits from amongst:
1. Students enrolled in the teaching or professional focus must take five credits in a Romance language and five credits in a seminar;
2. Five course or seminar credits can also be chosen for the research focus elective.
3. Students enrolled in the research focus elective, who have not chosen, LROM2855, LROM2857, LROM2514 or LROM2517, must choose five course credits in Romance languages.
4. In the context of a reasoned educational plan and with the agreement of the select committee, students may choose other courses (max 10 course credits) from the Master programmes run by the Faculty (e.g. philosophy, history, history of art, musicology, etc.) or the University (religious studies, economy, etc.). Students will speak to the instructor for the chosen course(s) to ensure he or she is authorised to take it/them and that he or she has met any possible requirements. If certain courses are offered in the core curriculum or in a research focus, they must not comprise more than six credits. No course may be taken from the teaching focus or professional focus.
