The seminar further examines specific problems in a selection of works of contemporary Spanish literature thanks to the systematic application.
The student will receive in this seminar the grounding necessary to carry out a research task in the field of contemporary Spanish literature and to take part in a scholarly debate in this field.

Evaluation will be on the basis of participation by the student and the presentation of written and oral work.
It will study how a particular narrative structure (voice, focalization, etc.), is particularly suited to tell the revelation of a secret, which always involves a number of constraints to the narrative and questions to the reader: who knows the secret, and do not know ?, what is the secret (adultery, mourning, etc.) ?, what kind of relationship is established between the protagonists and the reader given the existence of this shared secret (or not)? , what is the effect of the discovery of this secret? with what effect reading, etc.?
