Entry to all Masters (with the exception of Advanced Masters) can be gained through the special procedure for accrediting prior learning and experience known as VAE (validation des acquis de l'expérience).

These Masters are open to mature students. In particular, the Master with a professional focus enables students who wish to gain practical training in a field of statistical application to have  a lighter programme if they can provide evidence of previous studies or professional experience in the field of the professional focus they have selected. To meet the special requirements of students already working professionally, the relevant courses designed for them at the Institute of Statistics are grouped together in blocks of a half day.

Entry to all Masters (with the exception of Advanced Masters) can also be gained on submission of a special personal file.
