It regroups some 60 PhD students working on digital & analog microelectronics, nanoelectronics, nanotechnology, MEMS sensors and actuators and other Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) related technologies.

This seminar of the UCL IEEE Student Branch is intended to give a preview of the presentations in these 3 fields: Networks-on-Chip by François Stas (ELME22M), Ultra-wide-band receiver by Mohamad Al Kadi Jazairli (Ph.D student) and Green Systems-on-a-chip for the Internet-of-Things by Pr. David Bol.

The UCL IEEE Student Branch organizes a visit of On Semiconductor in their Oudenaarde campus! It is mainly a visit of their fab (the manufacturing plant that makes semiconductor devices). It will be similar to the Fab depicted in the video above.

PhD Movie screening at UCL!

The PhD Movie (from PhD comics) is coming to Louvain-La-Neuve!
This will be the third screening in Belgium, the first in Wallonia, yet another chance to have fun watching the movie!
The movie screening will take place on Tuesday, March 6 2012, 08:30 pm, at Auditorium Studio 11.
