My research lies at the intersection of biomechanics, neuroscience, and psychophysics. I focus on linking physical stimuli applied to the fingertip with perceptual responses, in order to understand how skin mechanics shape the sense of touch. Using advanced imaging and computational modeling, I investigate the mechanical behavior of the human fingertip and its relation to tactile perception.
I started a PhD in 2025 at the Université catholique de Louvain after gratuating in Biomedical Engineering the same university (MS 2025) with a Master's thesis titled "Influence of skin hydration on fingertip mechanical response and tactile perception".
