François Lessage
PhD Student (2024-)
I am a PhD student at Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium). My research focuses on better understanding motor control in Essential Tremor and Parkinson’s disease. More specifically, I study sensory attenuation and its adaptation in individuals with Essential Tremor, and I am also interested in gait adaptation in people with Parkinson’s disease. My work aims to identify biomarkers that can complement neurologists’ expertise in diagnosing these two conditions. I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, and my thesis explored the impact of dual-tasking on gait in Parkinson’s disease.
