EOLI Kick-off meeting was held in Narbonne, France on November 7-9, 2002.

The 2nd EOLI meeting was held on May 7-8-9, 2003 in Mexico City, Mexico.
- The first annual meeting of EOLI took place in Compiègne, France on October 15-17, 2003.

The mid-term meeting was held in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, on May 5-7, 2004.
- The second annual meeting of EOLI took place in Milano, Italy on November 22-24, 2004.

The mid third year meeting was held in Montevideo, Uruguay, on May 9-11, 2005.
- The third annual meeting of EOLI took place in Mexico City, Mexico on October 17-19, 2005.

An invited session on the EOLI project was held in Cuernava, Mexico, on October 19, 2005 during the annual Congress of the Automatic Control Mexican Association (AMCA).

A special session on the EOLI project is organized in Vienna, Austria, during the MathMod Conference held on February 8-10, 2006 (web site)
- The final meeting of EOLI will take place in Narbonne, France on April 4, 2006, with a presentation of the final results of the project and their demonstration on the INRA pilot plant. This will be held in conjunction with the conference STIC-Environnement (web site)
