Aperçu de l’axe 1 du projet « CLIMEDUC »
Attentes sociétales en matière d’éducation au changement climatique : sociogenèse et fondements philosophiques
Le premier axe poursuit un double objectif : retracer la sociogenèse de l’éducation au changement climatique, en mettant en évidence les philosophies sous-jacentes de l’éducation et de l’environnement, ainsi que les macro-récits qu’elles génèrent ; et analyser les approches éducatives correspondant à différentes perspectives écologiques. Il s’appuiera sur trois grands axes de recherche : (i) une analyse socio-historique secondaire visant à tester notre hypothèse d’une institutionnalisation en deux étapes (éducation à l’environnement, puis éducation au développement durable), (ii) une cartographie des conceptions historiques et contemporaines de l’éducation « écologique » (éducation environnementale, éducation durable, éducation au changement climatique), fondée sur une analyse documentaire et leur élucidation philosophique, et (iii) une lecture philosophique à partir de la littérature de représentants sélectionnés dans le domaine de la philosophie environnementale, afin de déterminer, pour les types d’éducation non repris dans la cartographie, quel type d’éducation est préconisé sur la base des projections d’avenir qui sous-tendent leur diagnostic du changement environnemental.

Le consortium CLIMEDUC est constitué d’une équipe de recherche dynamique, multidisciplinaire (philosophie, éducation, sociologie et psychologie cognitive) et ambitieuse, dotée d’une expertise reconnue et d’un réseau de recherche international. Ce dernier vise au développement d’un centre universitaire d’excellence en recherche fondamentale dans de le domaine de l’éducation au changement climatique.
PhD 1 en philosophie de l’environnement
PhD 2 en sociologie des institutions, sociologie de l’éducation et sociologie des sciences et des techniques (STS)
PhD 3 en sociologie de l’éducation
PhD 4 en psychologie cognitive et de l’activité physique
Offre :
· Une bourse de doctorat de 4 ans à temps plein financé par l’UCLouvain;

Outline of axis 1 of the project “CLIMEDUC”
Societal expectations for climate change education: Sociogenesis and Philosophical Foundations
The first axis has a twofold objective: to trace the sociogenesis of climate change education, revealing the underlying philosophies of education and the environment, as well as the macro-narratives they generate; and to analyze the educational approaches corresponding to different ecological perspectives. It will be based on three major research operations: (i) a secondary socio-historical analysis aimed at testing our hypothesis of a two-stage institutionalization (environmental education, then education for sustainable development), (ii) a mapping of historical and contemporary conceptions of « ecological » education (environmental education, sustainable education, climate change education), based on a documentary analysis and their philosophical elucidation, and (iii) a philosophical reading on the basis of the literature of representatives selected from the field of environmental philosophy in order to establish, for the types of education not covered by the mapping, which type of education is advocated on the basis of the future projections underlying their diagnosis of environmental change.
