Aims
Special Moral Theology: Economic, Social and Political Questions
By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
(1) orient him or herself in present-day debates on economic, social and political ethical questions;
(2) express his/her arguments on the theological aspects of these debates;
(3) use the tools necessary for interdisciplinary cooperation.
Main themes
The course dwells on an aspect of political ethics or economic ethics. Its objective is to systematically study a social problem in its relationship with the presence of religion in a pluralistic and secularised society.

Prerequisite: It is preferable (but not indispensable) to have taken the course RELI2112 (Social Ethics and Human Rights) or an introductory course in social ethics at another university.
