Aims

To learn how to integrate oneself in a process of research of didactic for French by trying out tools and methods related to a specific issue of the teaching of French.

Main themes

Strenghtening of one teaching area of French as first language and set up of a scientific methodology suited to the research in the area in question.
15 hours of seminar, with groups of 20 students.

Content and teaching methods

In 2005-2006, the seminary will focus on the study of the relationship between the pupils and the various kinds of stereotypes and the impacts of this relationship on the teaching and learning of reading and of writing.

Other information (prerequisite, evaluation (assessment methods), course materials recommended readings, ...)

Prerequisites : The students registered for the teaching certificate can follow as from the first year.

Evaluation : An essay of 10 to 12 pages.

Teaching materials : A list of bibliography suggestions and stimulating documents will be handed out at each session.

Others : Working in groups of 15 to 20 students supported by the professor and/or by an assistant.
Research activities in very small groups will alternated with exchanges in the entire group.
