Aims

- to deepen a specific theme related to the course "Pathological psychology of life ages: childhood and adolescence"
- to deepen one of the forms of the psychological disorders affecting the person (from early childhood to adolescence)
- review of the literature and work of critical synthesis on the chosen disorder.

Main themes

In the field of the psychopathological displays occurring in early childhood, in childhood and in adolescence, one subject is chosen each year to be studied in detail.
Symptomatology of the disorder, mechanisms implied, evolution and indications for the treatment are tacjkled on the basis of studies and formalisations found in the scientific literature. The comparative and critical analysis of the results of the studies is tackled. The students will have to realize a personal work on the theme (e.g. childhood psychosis, autism, depressions, reactional neurosis, identity disorders, etc.) and to actively participate to group discussions.
