Aims
The seminar aims to examine the value of the methods of the historian which permit the elaboration of his knowledge. The methodology is based upon the practice of each participant, at the level in which he is situated at the moment: in the course of his thesis, after his thesis, or in the course of his doctorate. Each step of historical research gives
rise to a debate around a series of theoretical questions brought up by epistemology applied to History; each participant responds to them from his experience as a historian. The responses are recorded in a written work defended at the time of examination.
