Aims
Through these exercises, the student will be introduced to the analysis of the oral and written transfer of scientific knowledge, more specifically to the critical reading of handbooks.
He will be introduced to oral and written competence in the practice of transferring scientific knowledge to a pre-defined audience.
He will be made aware of the specifics of transferring knowledge in classical languages and literature.
Main themes
- Reflection on the characteristics of quality transfer and in particular on its adaptation to the target audience;
- Critical analysis of handbooks destined to the teaching of classical languages on Secondary school level, based on a commonly elaborated grid;
- Written preparation of a didactic sequence aimed at having the pupils discover and master an important notion of the teaching of old languages;
- Individualised exercises in oral delivery.
We start from subjects limited in contents, preferably selected within the individual papers already asked for in the context of " candidature " or " licence " classes. The subjects are reworked, without additional research, in view of a presentation where the stress is more on form than on contents.
Oral presentation, with a written support, followed by an exchange and a discussion with the aim of improving the expression techniques used during the talk. The use of the overhead-projector or other technical aids is welcomed.
15 hours of exercises, organised in groups of 20 students.
Compulsory seminar for students enrolled in teacher training (" agrégation "), optional for others.
Oral presentation with a written paper. Participation in the subsequent exchange.
Linked to the individual work done in the context of other classes in the " candidature " or the " licence ".
The teacher can call on specialists in written and audio-visual communication.
