Aims

This activity is the continuation of the course in 1ère licence (FOPA 2139). The aim of the seminar is to teach the students how to build a research project which will be finalised in the final thesis (or TFE). The students have to present at the end of this year a file presenting the project : specific aim, proposition of hypotheses and research methodology; choice of a tutor, calendar.

Content and teaching methods

This activity is the continuation of the course in 1ère licence (FOPA 2139). The aim of the seminar is to teach the students how to build a research project which will be finalised in the final thesis (or TFE). It is related to all the teachings and particularly to the course of research methodology in human sciences. The students are accompanied in the realisation of the first stages of the building of their research project.

It follows educational methods fitted for adults including the link between theory and practice, group work, formative assessment and steps of individual and group appropriation of the contents. Illustrations from the various fields of education and from adults formation : continuous education, specialized education, school field, etc.
Summative evaluation on the work realised during the seminar in first and second licence; it will be based on the folio prepared by the students showing their ability to build a research project and to bring their thesis to an end.
