Aims

The aim of the practical training in pharmaceutical technology is to integrate by individual and collective work the formulation, manufacture and controls of conventional pharmaceutical dosage forms.

Main themes

During the integrated practical training in pharmaceutical technology the students will formulate, manufacture and control
- tablets and coated capsules
- parenteral solutions
- aerosols, foams and metered dose inhalers
- suppositories
- dispersed systems : emulsions, suspensions

Content and teaching methods

The students will manufacture either alone or in a group of 4 to 8 students the different dosage forms. The formulation will not be provided.
