Aims
Students will be expected to know and understand the main theories of narrative analysis
as it concerns production and reception. This knowledge of writers and theories must
be situated within a critical perspective, and be applicable to various objects of communication (e.g. information media, fiction and advertising). The basis of the narratological approach will have to be assimilated by the end of the course.
