Aims

- to give the students philosophical tools to think love, desire, relation to the other and state of love
- to give some guidelines of the history of philosophy to think those themes
- to confront the students with a philosophical text

Main themes

- study of the metaphysical distinction between Eros, Philia and Agapé.
- A phenomenology of love

Content and teaching methods

- Study of love, desire and the relation to the other in Platon, Aristote, St Augustin, Spinoza, Marion, Levinas,...
- Reading and commentary of a philosophical book
