Aims

The objective is to introduce the students to the practice of exegetical methods by reading certain New Testament texts (mostly of a Gospel) and by using the main tools.

Main themes

The course involves reading a textual corpus from the New Testament (mostly a section of a Gospel).
After some introductory lectures on methods by the professor, each student is asked to present an analysis of a short text which is then discussed by all the members of the seminar.

Evaluation: The evaluation involves presenting an analysis, but also taking part in the debates.
