Aims
This course is an introduction to the writing and theology proper to the three synoptic gospels.
Main themes
It offers a thorough reading of the synoptic texts, the choice of which may vary, with particular attention paid to the texts of the Passion and the Resurrection. Comparative reading of the three synoptics will seek to bring out the art of writing and intentions, notably theological, of each of the evangelists.
