Aims

The first part of the course is aimed at studying the legal frame of the political organisation of the State. The second part concentrates more specifically on administrative institutions at all levels of power.

Main themes

The first part of the course concentrates on public law. Among others, it concerns the political entities (State structures and divisions) and the constitutional system (division of powers, functions and procedures in time of crisis).

The second part focuses on the organisation, the action and the control of the Administration at all State levels (status of the organs, regulations, control mechanisms and sanctions of the administrative action).

Lecturing.

The course focuses on selected questions which give a great importance to critical opinions on current political events and administrative actions.

A textbook and a handbook (syllabus) are available.

Practical exercises complete the lecturing and allow links with the practice.
