Aims
- to prepare the students to the practical use of the various approaches for the research in scientifical psychology: problems of the collection of data and of the descriptive approach; problems of the correlative and experimental approaches; problems of laboratory and clinical experimentation (single case).
Main themes
A detailed course outline is the reference for the students. They get organised in small work groups, they choose an investigation theme and realise practical research exercises on the chosen theme, so as to face the usual difficulties.
The course consists in lectures, sessions of exercises and sessions of questions/answers.
The work groups are individually guided by tutors.
Content and teaching methods
The course is designed to prepare the students to the practical use of the various approaches for the research in scientifical psychology : hypotheses working out, review of the literature, collection of data, descriptive, correlative and experimental approaches.
