Aims

Formation complement in theoretical and mathematical physics, in particular, but
Not exclusively, for students performing a thesis in the field. Emphasis is put on the practice of notions studied and on the personal work of the student.

Main themes

The activities proposed are of two types: (i) daily seminars for the systematic study of some chapters of a few works on theoretical physics: given by the students and discussed (ii) in the second semester, a small personal work, to initiate the student to research

Prerequisites: candidatures in PHYS or MATH.

Support: reference books (generally 3).

Openings:theorical physics education in second licence; thesis in theorical physics and mathematics.
