Aims

- to present to the students the basic principles of deontology and the legal principles relevant to the practice of speech therapy, the principles of professional responsibility, and the administrative steps to take to start practicing the profession of speech therapist.

Part 1
- the exercise of the healing art and the legal organisation of the medical and paramedical professions
- the civil responsibility of the speech therapist and the coverage of the risks
- the penal and disciplinary responsibility
- the ethical and juridical questions related to the practice of the profession

- the organisation of the profession in Belgium and in Europe.
