Aims

- to introduce the students to the examination of the language disorders of the aphasics
- to introduce more briefly to the pool of methods of examination in neurophysiology related to the memory, attention, praxias and gnosia disorders.

Main themes

- the clinical tools available will be presented to the students to allow the examination of the written and oral language disorders in all its dimensions : phonological/graphemic, lexical, semantic and syntactic
- the presentation of the evaluation tools will be discussed in its theoretical presuppositions and in its functional finalities
- the methods of examination of the other cognitive functions will be presented more briefly, emphasizing the interactions between the functioning of language and the other fields of the cognitive activity
