Aims

To provide to the student the methods to analyze and adapt the working station to the handicapped person. By work, it is necessary to hear the interactions between the Man and the machine in the broad sense, which intervenes as well within the professional framework (in normal and protected economy) as extra-professional (activities of the life day labourer, leisures...). This goal will be pursued for various types of handicap and will be achieved at the same time by the presentation of thorough knowledge on the matter, and by exercises carried out in laboratory and on the ground. This course falls under the option entitled "Handicap and Work" and is the prolongation of the course d"Ergonomy and Réadaptation ".

Main themes

Theory: - Presentation and analyzes comparative profiles of working station. - biomechanical Analysis of the requirements of work. - Adaptation of the working stations to the various types of handicap (driving, sensory and mental) and presentation of the existing assistances. Practical work: - Presentation of the methods evaluation of the handicap. Seminars: - Analysis on the ground of a working station de for a handicapped person and discussion of possible installations to improve the working conditions.
