 Aims
This course has as its objective to treat, at university level, a question of the christian faith. It is a human science course, considering that, as any human science, it can contribute to give a human being self-understanding confronting him/her with the great questions that have been part of his/her experience at any time.
Main themes
It is a course of religious formation and information as can be expected by a student, with the same rigourous status that is awaited of any university teaching. Including succesively the religious experience, the origines of christianity, its modern transformation and finaly its links with other religions, this course exposes the anthropological dimension for unbelievers as well as the truth and meaning for the one searching to deepen his/her faith.
Content and teaching methods

The course contains five main parts :
1. Why speak about religion(s) nowadays ?
2. The problem of the sources of christianity
3. To interpret ancient texts nowadays: the Gospels
4. Which meaning to give to the name " Jesus Christ " nowadays ?
5. Christianity and religious pluralism

Requirements : nil
Evaluation : Oral examination (15 minutes) : presentation of a personal arguemented relexion paper based on the course and extended by a chosen reading from the bibliography.
