Aims

This course is the indispensable complement to the course of general surgery and shall give, on a didactic and synthetic presentation, the basic principles of plastic surgery and their clinical applications.

Main themes

This course of 15 hours will approach the following topics : basic principles of plastic surgery, treatment of complex wounds, craniofacial anomalies, vascular anomalies, reconstructive surgery of the head and neck and of the lower limb, breast reconstruction, aesthetic surgery.
This course will be illustrated by numerous clinical cases and video recordings of surgical interventions.
This course is assigned to the medical students from the first doctorate in medicin.
