Aims
Introduction the research in the methodology of the specialty, in order to offer different models of well-documented practical lesson plans.
Main themes
Practical research supervised by the course holder : writing of personal texts as well as collected selections of historical, literary, artistic (plastic arts), and specialised (choice of excerpts of music scores and records) documents. The research should result in the drawing up of model lessons - including documentation - that can be used immediately in concrete teaching situations or published in pedagogical magazines.
Compulsory seminar for students who write their final dissertation on the didactics of music.
Content and teaching methods
More precisely, the research is on topics of a certain breadth, in order to allow for the writing of a series of at least six to ten lessons; examples : Classicism, Baroque era, Romanticism, national and/or regional awakenings, music and the sacred, the 100 Years War, music and dance, music and literature(s), etc. ...

Prerequisites : training in didactics of the plastic arts.
Two assignments (oral and written presentation) to be agreed upon with the course holder.
