Main themes
The key moments of the history of music will be thoroughly analysed, in particular by sound illustration of the major works of the repertoire and by analysing the scores for their main features.
Content and teaching methods
Summary :
The chronological and traditional division of the subject is maintained. The course will point out the composers and works that are considered as the most important by the course holder. The content of the course may vary from year to year.
Method : lectures illustrated by examples of written, played, and visualised music, analyses of works by and with the students.
