Methusalem Colloquium.

In 2008 Amir-Angel-Valko established a color-position symmetry for a multi-color asymmetric simple exclusion process (ASEP). We will discuss a generalization of this result to the case of a multi-color stochastic vertex model and its new applications to the behavior of second class particles in these models.
