Message of the Coordinator
With the start of the second semester we have several activities of our DYSCO network to choose from. In this newsletter, you will find out about our next graduate course on Compressive Sensing and on two workshops with themes related to Classification Models and Nonlinear Identification. In the near future there are also the Benelux meeting on Systems and Control (see the January Newsletter for an announcement) and the next DYSCO study day, which is scheduled on May 19th in Louvain-la-Neuve. More details will be given in the next Newsletter, but we ask you already to put this date in your agenda.
Newsletter subscription
The newsletter Dysco News is the monthly newsletter of the Belgian Interuniversity Attraction Pole "Dynamical systems, control and optimization" (DYSCO) funded by the Belgian Science Policy Office. The DYSCO network includes partners at UCL, KUL, UGent, VUB, ULg, UMons, UNamur, and international partners at Stanford, Princeton and MIT. Subscription is free and open to anyone: subscribe here, or unsubscribe.
Study Visits Stanford and Princeton
The research groups of Stephen Boyd at Stanford University and of Naomi Leonard at Princeton University are partner in our IAP network. A budget is available for activities with these partners, such as study visits of Belgian researchers at these universities, study visits of foreign researchers in Belgium, workshops, etc.
The university of KU Leuven is managing this budget for exchanges with Stanford and ULiège is managing it for Princeton. If a member of DYSCO wants to propose such an activity, he/she should contact the promotors of KULeuven and ULiege.
