This year, this workshop will be held in ULB, in Brussels, Belgium, on Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Campus de la Plaine. It will focus on the following themes which are aligned with the topics of the Graduate School MUSICS:
-
harmonic analysis for data science and machine learning;
-
convex and non-convex inverse problems with low-dimensional signal models;
-
solving inverse problems with deep learning or low-complexity generative models;
-
application of these fields in computational imaging, astronomy and biomedical imaging.
The workshop welcomes contributed talks PhD students, postdocs, and researchers working on these topics.
For this occasion, the workshop will be honored to welcome the following plenary speakers:
- Claire Boyer (Sorbonne Université, Paris, France): "Some statistical insights on PINNs"
- Estelle Massart (UCLouvain, Belgium): "Global optimization using random embeddings"
- Luca Ratti (Università di Genova, Italy): "Deep neural-network algorithms for sparsity promotion in inverse problems, based on multiresolution and microlocal analysis"
