Seminar jointly supported by TRAIL, CyberWal and the Musics doctoral School
The program will be the following:
2:00 pm - Hunting malware by AI
This talk, given by Prof. Axel Legay (UCLouvain), highlights the benefits of Artificial Intelligence in malware analysis. The first part of the talk is dedicated to the challenge of malware analysis, while the second shows how machine learning and formal verification team up to obtain better performances than classical static/dynamic anti-virus techniques. The last part of the talk briefly discusses the use of federated learning in collaborative malware analysis.
3:00 pm - Grand challenges of AI to be addressed by cryptography research

4:15 pm - Tips of the month
The key steps of the knowledge transfer process. How to properly manage intellectual property ?
This presentation will be given by two people from the LiEU network: Kevin Deplus (ULB) and Jérôme Mallargé (UNamur).
4:45 pm - Research pitches (5-min presentations)
At the registration, please volunteer to give a pitch of your research! Also, as explained at the last seminar, if you master an existing AI software/library/tool, you can volunteer to become the TRAIL champion for that tool and present the tool during this session.
