Friday 10 October – KU Leuven

Call for papers
We invite submissions for papers (20’ presentation + 10’ discussion) on any topic in linguistics. Papers can be in any of the three Belgian national languages (Dutch, French, German) or in English. Abstracts cannot exceed 500 words (without references) and should clearly indicate the topic, the objectives, data and method and (provisional) results. Deadline for submission is Thursday 10 July 2025. Please submit your abstract by e-mailing organizers Bert Oben and Laura Struys. At the beginning of September 2025 you will be informed about acceptance of your abstract.
Venue
All activities (lectures and lunch) will be organised in the Erasmus building of the faculty of Arts (Blijde Inkomststraat 21, 3000 Leuven) within walking distance from Leuven’s train station.
Conference fee
Attendance is free of charge (this holds for both members and non-members). If you want to present at the conference, you are required to become a member of the LSB. This means that you have to be registered on the website and have paid the annual contribution of € 50 if you wish to obtain the latest two volumes of the Nota Bene journal, or € 25 with access to only the digital versions of those volumes.
Award
The LSB board will be organising a Best Paper Presentation Award for PhD students. If you wish to participate, please make sure you mention it when you submit your proposition.
